1. Get social

It’s been a long time between social drinks (thanks Covid…) and this year’s conference is as much about knowledge sharing as it is about building new connections and reinforcing previous relationships. Every day of this jam-packed conference features a range of social events that are set to forge relaxed networking opportunities – while also enjoying good food together and creating new memories.

And last – but most definitely not least – get yourself to the biggest social event of the conference which is happening on Friday 23 June at Bared Footwear’s Fortitude Valley flagship store. It will be the party of the year for anyone and everyone who works in this awesome sector (and free shoes are there to be won!)

2. Get moving

Speaking of our fun, this year’s conference aims to get delegates moving as much as possible. Passive sitting is being switched up and replaced with our morning Fun Run & Walk, plenty of standing workshops, and an interactive lightning session where movement is welcomed. There’s also a separate morning walk for delegates to get their steps up at the start of the day and begin their day feeling good.

Last but not least, a number of footwear companies are offering the opportunity to try their runners on the Fun Run & Walk. Don’t miss this opportunity to check out all that is new in the world of sporting shoes!

3. Get involved

Not only are there a stack of opportunities to get moving, but time is carved into the calendar to ensure all delegates can be seen and heard. Your knowledge is there to be shared, and we want to hear from you in a range of workshops and masterclasses.

The 90-minute masterclasses, as one just example, take place on Saturday 24 June. In these interactive sessions, leaders across the podiatry and wider allied health sectors will work with you and your peers to prompt collaboration and pragmatic shared learning opportunities. Get ready to be inspired, and to inspire!

4. Get connected

Not only do the diverse presentations speak to different clinical streams, but this year’s experience meets you where you are at.

First time conference-goer? Tell our awesome registration team, who can put your name down for a First Timers Conference Tour so that you can connect with likeminded podiatrists. Make sure you attend the welcome event too. If you’re a student, new grad or new professional then head down to the Tex Mex-inspired social event for an evening of amazing food and margaritas (and giveaways!). Experienced conference-goers know how much fun conferences like this one can be, so be prepared to enjoy yourselves. While the days are filled with ample learning opportunities, we all learn better when we are having fun.

P.S. If you work in the public sector, this conference also has you firmly in mind. There are plenty of learning opportunities for you. Check out our streams for more information.

5. Get away

Even if you live in Brisbane, treat yourself to a mini break by getting out of your usual routine by taking time out for your professional development.

Wherever you are based, there are a range of affordable hotels near the venue (or fancy ones if that’s more your vibe). Best of all, the conference is designed to finish on a Saturday so you can choose to sleep in on Sunday and then head out to enjoy all that Brisbane has to offer.

See you there!

To book your spot (and secure early bird prices) register before Friday April 21.
